Remezzo is located in the traditional settlement of Imerovigli. Having the natural advantage of the unique view of the gulf of Caldera, gazing over the romantic Sunset, the lodgings but also the village itself constitutes a characteristic sample of local traditional architecture.
The villageʼs excellent restaurants and shops are within a short walking distance from Remezzo while the town center of Fira can easily be reached by bus, car or even on foot as the villageʼs bus stop, main road and pedestrianʼs old path are only a few steps away.
An important landmark is the rocky promontory of Skaros with its medieval castle that is jutting into the sea, right in front of Imerovigli. According to all visitors Skaros is one of Santoriniʼs top spots with unique panoramic views of the surrounding islands and volcano.
